Fuel Cycle & Waste Management
Devoted to all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle including waste management, worldwide. Division specific areas of interest and involvement include uranium conversion and enrichment; fuel fabrication, management (in-core and ex-core) and recycle; transportation; safeguards; high-level, low-level and mixed waste management and disposal; public policy and program management; decontamination and decommissioning environmental restoration; and excess weapons materials disposition.

In an international industry, regulators cross the border too
Since nuclear physics works the same in Ontario as it does in Tennessee, the industry has been trying to create a reactor that can be deployed on both sides of the border. Now, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission have decided that some of their rulings can cross the border too.

Time to sharpen your resume/CV with the ANS Virtual Career Fair around the corner on September 22-23! The ANS Young Members Group (YMG) and ANS Student Sections Committee (SSC) are hosting a virtual Resume/CV Workshop on Thursday, September 10, 2:00 - 3:30 pm EDT.
You'll hear from leaders in industry, national laboratory complex, and academia highlight ways to make you a unique and attractive candidate in your job searches. Attendees will then have the opportunity to break into small groups for interactive discussions and review resumes. Attendees are highly encouraged to bring their resume/CV for feedback during the breakout sessions.
The workshop is free and open to all ANS members.
