The top 10 states of nuclear
The past few years have seen a concerted effort from many U.S. states to encourage nuclear development. The momentum behind nuclear-friendly policies has grown considerably, with many states repealing moratoriums, courting nuclear developers and suppliers, and in some cases creating advisory groups and road maps to push deployment of new nuclear reactors.

RepoTREND is a new simulator designed to model the processes in a final repository for radioactive waste in different geological formations. RepoTREND provides functionalities for simulating the release of contaminants and their migration through the near-field and far-field to the biosphere, including the estimation of the radiological consequences for a human and the environment. In order to allow the statistical analysis of the models which are implemented in RepoTREND, a new concept named RepoSTAR was developed and realised as the statistical framework of RepoTREND. This paper provides a brief overview of RepoTREND.
