Article considers incorporation of AI into nuclear power plant operations
The potential application of artificial intelligence to the operation of nuclear power plants is explored in an article published in late December in the Washington Examiner. The French legislative and regulatory framework for safe management of radioactive waste is presented. Emphasis is put on legislative aspects for the management of high-level waste and on the operation of surface disposal for low-level waste. Other topics such as policy and issues for very low-level waste or dismantling are also briefly developed.
