This paper presents the main results of a survey of techniques and methods that can be used to represent the resonant self-shielding phenomenon in reactor lattice calculations. We concentrated our investigation on techniques already used in legacy lattice codes and on advanced techniques that are likely to be used for third- and fourth-generation reactor analysis.
