Christmas Light
’Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house
No electrons were flowing through even my mouse.
All devices were plugged by the chimney with care
With the hope that St. Nikola Tesla would share.

In this investigation, variance measurements of the secondary electron emission current from an evacuated chamber have been performed and a formula to calculate in these experiments has been derived. The value obtained for is within 50% of obtained with a gas detector and a factor of 2 greater than calculated values. The mean track length and the Vtrack term were also calculated for this irradiation geometry, Vtrack being of the same order of magnitude as Vtrack for a sphere.
