Disney World should have gone nuclear
There is extra significance to the American Nuclear Society holding its annual meeting in Orlando, Florida, this past week. That’s because in 1967, the state of Florida passed a law allowing Disney World to build a nuclear power plant.

Work presented at the first Soviet National Conference on Cold Nuclear Fusion, which took place in March 1991 in Dubna and Moscow, is reviewed. In addition to an integrated view of the experimental and theoretical work, a description is given of some additional contributions that had appeared in the Soviet literature before the conference.
