Candidates announced for 2025 ANS leadership positions

As the U.S. election season finally comes to an end, the annual American Nuclear Society election season is right around the corner. Seventeen candidates have been nominated for the positions of ANS vice president/president-elect, treasurer, and six positions on the board of directors (four U.S. directors, one non-U.S. director, and one student director). Ballots will be sent via email on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, and must be submitted by 1:00 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

The 2023 American Nuclear Society election is underway. All ANS members are eligible to vote on the open leadership positions. With the national midterms coming to a close, the last word members want to hear is "election"—but at least the annual ANS election won't result in unending political adverts on our televisions. As one election cycle ends, so another begins. The candidates for the ANS 2023 election have been named to fill eight open positions, with terms beginning in June 2023, following the Annual Meeting. The national positions open are for vice president/president-elect, treasurer, four directors, one student director, and one non-U.S. director.
