The Roving Reactor traveling exhibit will be in New York City at the end of the month to present “The Microreactor Salon: Tiny Nuclear vs. the Climate Crisis.” The event is part of the extensive lineup of Climate Week NYC, which will run September 22–29 this year and includes additional events all month long.

Register now. “The Microreactor Salon” will be held at Xposed on the Highline, a noncommercial art gallery, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (EDT) on Wednesday, September 25. An RSVP is required for entry to the event.

What it’s about: Billed as “the first ever Climate Week NYC event dedicated to nuclear microreactors,” the salon will include a brief presentation to introduce attendees to the key concepts of microreactors and “engage professionals in lively debate.” Artists, photographers, engineers, developers, investors, policymakers, activists, researchers, and others will have opportunities to share their insights and foster connections.

About the hosts: “The Microreactor Salon” is presented by Steve Moore, creative lead of the Roving Reactor and an Austin, Texas–based artist and writer. His cohost for the evening is Jared Hoffman, a New York–based, technology-inspired artist, writer, and documentary filmmaker.
