Get ready! ANS is taking the Annual Meeting online

April 22, 2020, 6:29PMANS News

Cancel your flight to Phoenix, but keep your calendar free! ANS is transforming its 2020 ANS Annual Meeting—coming up June 8-11—into an online conference. The virtual meeting will deliver the top-quality content and technical exchange you've come to expect from ANS meetings while ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved.

The first-ever virtual ANS national meeting will feature live content along with recorded presentations and sessions, all of which will be available on demand to registered attendees following the meeting.

Attention authors: Summaries of presented papers will be published in Volume 122 of Transactions of the American Nuclear Society. If you have already submitted a paper for the Annual Meeting, you can choose to either present your paper during the virtual meeting or withdraw it and submit it for a future ANS meeting. Please note that if an author participates in the virtual meeting and a summary is published, the paper cannot be submitted again.

All authors must indicate a choice. If you have not done so already, please email annual2020@ans.org to confirm whether you would like to present your paper during the virtual meeting or withdraw it.

Need to know: Registration for the virtual meeting will open next week at ansannual.org. Stay tuned for more details.

If you have already registered to attend the meeting in Phoenix, an ANS representative will contact you directly to discuss your options.
