Roy G. Post Foundation announces 2025 scholarships
The Roy G. Post Foundation announced on February 6 that a total of $310,000 in scholarships will be awarded this year to college students in recognition of their academic achievements, leadership qualities, and positive impacts on their communities.
The foundation, which is named after the founding chief executive of Waste Management Symposia, is committed to supporting future leaders in radioactive waste management and nuclear fields. This is the 23rd year that the foundation has provided scholarships to advance undergraduate and graduate education. In that time, more than $4 million has been awarded, and 375-plus students have benefitted from the scholarships.
The winners: Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the Next Generation Workforce Student Awards & Reception at WM2025, being held March 9–13 in Phoenix, Ariz. They also will receive an all-expense paid trip to WM2025, courtesy of WM Symposia. This year’s scholarship winners are students at the following schools:
