Neurodiversity is the concept that everyone's brain is unique. It encompasses a spectrum of characteristics, including but not limited to ADHD or autism, that impact on how different individuals approach and perform their work and interact with others. Just as we all bring different skills and expertise to our work, so too do we bring different minds with our own advantages and challenges. Ultimately, we want to foster an environment and community that enables everyone to perform at their fullest potential. This panel discussion is aimed at a neurodiverse audience to serve as a broad overview to a general audience around this complex topic. We will explore success strategies and challenges shared by neurodiverse individuals, as well as best practices for leaders and individual contributors for accommodating a neurodiverse team.
