The Education, Training & Workforce Development Division provides communication among the academic, industrial, and governmental communities through the exchange of views and information on matters related to education, training and workforce development in nuclear and radiological science, engineering, and technology. Industry leaders, education and training professionals, and interested students work together through Society-sponsored meetings and publications, to enrich their professional development, to educate the general public, and to advance nuclear and radiological science and engineering.

WM Symposia announces WM2025 award winners
WM Symposia, the nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education and information exchange on global radioactive waste management, has announced its WM2025 award winners. Each year, WM Symposia and its supporters recognize and present awards to several individuals based on their contributions in radioactive waste and radioactive material management.

Pittsburgh, PA|Sheraton Station Square
D&RS 2016 Will take place at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square, located at 300 W. Station Square Drive, Pittsburgh, PA. Group rates of $169.00 plus 14% tax are available Saturday, July 30 through Thursday, August 4. Government rooms are also available current prevailing rate of $130 plus tax. Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00pm. Reservations can be made by calling 412-261-2000. Guests should be identified as part of the American Nuclear Society, D&RS 2016 Meeting. All reservations must be confirmed by July 15 to secure the group rate. After this date rooms will be accepted on a space available basis.
