Last year’s session discussed the potential consequences of utility cost saving measures due to unforeseen impacts to the supplier community. Industry initiatives are typically the result of meetings between parties to meet some stated objective. Including suppliers in discussions related to the supply of products and services provides an additional pool that great ideas can emerge from. Consequences might not always be avoidable, but knowing them in advance can minimize their impacts.
