What is ANS’s ethics policy?

Please review the ANS Code of Ethics and Respectful Behavior Policy.

Are there copyright concerns for hosting our presentations on the meeting platform?

Presentations should not have copyrighted material included, because the sessions will be recorded and viewable by meeting attendees at any time. Please email conferences@ans.org if you have any questions or need assistance ahead of time.

Where do I find the links to join sessions?

All links will be live 30 minutes before the first session starts. Please feel free to add all your sessions to your personalized itinerary. You can also add sessions to your calendar by clicking on "Subscribe to Your Itinerary Calendar." Please note the zoom link for each track will stay live the entire afternoon. If you are switching tracks, or are watching a track that is combining sessions, you may have to open a new zoom link.

Will there be anyone to help run my zoom session?

Yes, each technical session will have a Knowledge Manager assigned for basic assistance. For any extra assistance or questions, please email conferences@ans.org.

I am presenting in a session, do I need to register?

Yes, all attendees need to register to gain access to the platform and access to the technical session links. Register now!

Is there a time limit to my presentation?

Please speak directly to your Session Organizer for assistance on how your session will be run.

Is there a presentation template?

Yes, the PowerPoint Template is available on the Resources page.

Where do I upload my presentation?

Sign in to the ANS website and click this link: “Sessions” in the left menu. Click on add attachments. Please note you need to be registered in order to have access to the meeting site.

What file formats can I upload to the platform?

We are allowing PDF, PPT, MP4, and links to external (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo) videos (for prerecorded videos).

Will the sessions be live or prerecorded?

The sessions will all take place live, but if a presenter cannot make their designated time, there may be part of a session prerecorded.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes, please note all sessions will be recorded and made available shortly after on the ANS site. Please contact conferences@ans.org if recording may cause any issues.

Will the recordings be available after the session?

Yes, registrants will have access to all sessions. Please give ANS 24 hours after completion of session to post the recordings to the platform.

Who will run the presentation?

That is up to the author and the Session organizer. We recommend that each presenter share their screen and run their own presentation. Session Organizers and Knowledge Managers will be ready in case of an internet connection issue, power loss, etc.

How will the audience submit questions?

The sessions will run in the Zoom Meeting platform. The only option is to “raise your hand”; there will not be a chat or Q&A function.

Who do I contact with any questions about the platform or live sessions?

Please contact conferences@ans.org and they will direct your question to the appropriate staff.

Will there be a way to submit questions or comments after the session is over?

There will be a comments section on each session page of the meeting platform. Please feel free to browse the sessions!

Will ANS still use the meeting App?

There is no app for this meeting.

I’ve seen cool backgrounds for Zoom. Does ANS have one?

Yes! We have several options. Please visit the Resources page to download and for instructions.

Can I receive professional development hours for sessions I attend?

Yes, please send a list of all sessions attended live (no recorded sessions) to conferences@ans.org.
