BWXT, Westinghouse partner for nuclear new builds in Canada
BWXT Canada, a subsidiary of BWX Technologies, is partnering with Westinghouse Electric Company to build new nuclear projects in Canada and globally.
SAPHIRE was created to analyze probabilistic risk assessments (PRA). This development process was started in 1987 at the request of the NRC and continues today. The Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) role in the SAPHIRE program is that of software developer and interface to the user community, including training and technology transfer.
