2024 ANS Annual Conference
Alyse Huffman is a Professional Staff Member working on science and energy policy, including nuclear fission and fusion and the Department of Energy national labs, on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee under Chairman Joe Manchin III. She previously worked on clean energy and science policy on the Energy Subcommittee of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, where she also worked as the 2019 American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Congressional Fellow sponsored by the American Nuclear Society. Alyse received her M.S. and B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida and she is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of North Carolina.
