New GE Hitachi “blocks” could cut costs in nuclear deployment
Researchers at GE Hitachi Nuclear recently completed a successful test on potential new building blocks made of steel-concrete composite.
For more than 65 years, the American Nuclear Society has provided a forum for advancing the state of applied nuclear science and technology. ANS meetings and conferences are the best way to keep current with the ever changing fields of nuclear science and technology.
In addition to two national conferences per year, ANS sponsors many topical meetings which concentrate on a particular technical area. Many of these meetings are planned many years in advance and are listed here. To have a conference listed here, it must be approved by the National Program Committee of the American Nuclear Society for inclusion on the ANS Calendar.
