Young Members Group
The Young Members Group works to encourage and enable all young professional members to be actively involved in the efforts and endeavors of the Society at all levels (Professional Divisions, ANS Governance, Local Sections, etc.) as they transition from the role of a student to the role of a professional. It sponsors non-technical workshops and meetings that provide professional development and networking opportunities for young professionals, collaborates with other Divisions and Groups in developing technical and non-technical content for topical and national meetings, encourages its members to participate in the activities of the Groups and Divisions that are closely related to their professional interests as well as in their local sections, introduces young members to the rules and governance structure of the Society, and nominates young professionals for awards and leadership opportunities available to members.

Stand with us in support of the brave workers and their families within Ukraine’s nuclear community.
An appeal from the Ukrainian Nuclear Society.
Help Ukraine Get Through Winter
Ukraine’s power grid is under attack. Russian airstrikes have destroyed over nine gigawatts of capacity, leaving the country with only a third of the power needed to meet peak winter demand. Daily blackouts of up to 20 hours and heating fuel shortages can mean life or death for many. Urgent help is needed.
Stand with us in helping Ukraine’s “frontline” nuclear communities stay warm this winter.
Give to the ANS-ENS Ukrainian Nuclear Workers Humanitarian Fund and help Ukraine’s nuclear communities in need across the country, from satellite cities that host nuclear power plants to communities that host specialized higher education institutions and nuclear research facilities.
In partnership with the European Nuclear Society (ENS), all donations go directly to the Ukrainian Nuclear Society for the purchase and distribution of essential medical supplies, personal protective equipment, batteries, flashlights, warm clothes, food, and other items.
The American Nuclear Society is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
